Introduction

YummyTails ('we', 'our', or 'the brand') provides pet food products manufactured by third-party facilities licensed and regulated under the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). We aim to maintain quality and safety but do not directly control the manufacturing process.

Manufacturing Disclosure

Our pet food products are made by third-party FSSAI-approved manufacturers. While YummyTails oversees ingredient selection, recipes, and batch testing, the actual preparation, processing, and packaging are conducted independently by our manufacturing partners.

Scope of Application

This indemnity and disclaimer applies to all purchases and engagements made across all sales channels, including but not limited to: our website, third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Supertails), offline retailers, direct resellers, and social commerce platforms (such as WhatsApp and Instagram).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YummyTails shall not be held liable for any damages, claims, or losses, including but not limited to:
- Allergic reactions, illnesses, or fatalities arising from product consumption
- Defects in packaging, spoilage during transit or storage
- Misuse, overfeeding, or failure to follow instructions
- Failure to consult veterinary advice prior to feeding
- Any economic, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

User Responsibility

Buyers, consumers, or resellers are responsible for proper product handling, storage, and usage. They must consult a licensed veterinarian before introducing any new food to their pets. Products must be used strictly in accordance with feeding guidelines and expiration dates.

Indemnity Clause

By accessing, purchasing, or consuming our products through any channel, users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YummyTails, its directors, employees, partners, agents, affiliates, and successors from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Any harm or injury alleged to be caused by the products
- Any breach of user responsibilities or misuse
- Any third-party claims arising from resale or redistribution

Veterinary Disclaimer

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. No statement on our packaging or marketing materials should be construed as veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before switching or introducing new food.

Jurisdiction

This statement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
